Our mission is to help Carbon County residents that have been diagnosed with cancer. The financial assistance provided can be used to help cover travel, lodging, meals and other expenses associated with battling cancer.

12/2022 Bomgaars in Rawlins donated $835.91 to Ribbons of Hope from their Ladies Night Event!
11/2022 We held our Annual Fun Run with a Thanksgiving Turkey Trot! It was a huge success. Thank you to all who participated.
1/2022 Sinclair Wyoming Refining Company donated $10,000 to Ribbons of Hope With the continued support from our amazing sponsors, like Sinclair Wyoming Refining Co., and our fundraisers, we are able to fulfill grant requests for those in Carbon County who are battling cancer. These funds can be used for things like travel, lodging, meals and other unexpected costs associated with battling cancer.
12/21 Bomgaars in Rawlins donated $257.54 to Ribbons of Hope from their Annual Ladies Night Give Back Event!
12/ 20 Bomgaars in Rawlins donated $422.63 from their annual Ladies Night Campaign to Ribbons of Hope in December, 2020. Each year they host Ladies Night and donate 5% of their sales from that evening to a local cancer organization, and they once again chose us! Thank you Bomgaars for choosing us to help give back in Carbon County.
The Sinclair Wyoming Refining Company generously donated $25,000 to Ribbons of Hope in November, 2020. We were unable to host the Fiesta 5K, our major fundraiser, due to COVID-19, so receiving this gift truly touched our heart and helped us continue to help residents in Carbon County who are battling cancer.
Ribbons of Hope last held the Kick-off to Summer at our annual fundraiser to help Carbon County residents battle cancer at our annual FIESTA 5k in May, 2019. The global pandemic kept us from hosting the event in 2020 and 2021. We hope to bring it back in 2022. Watch for more information on upcoming fundraisers.

A large portion of financial crisis during cancer diagnosis and treatment can be attributed to things like time spent in the hospital, tests and procedures, medications, constant clinic visits, home health services and the services rendered by physicians and medical professionals.
Insurance, public health care and managed care can help provide financial relief for most of these costs...if you're covered under such an insurance plan. Many families also have to endure indirect costs and other expenses when their loved one has cancer.

- Travel Expenses - Gas and Parking (if applicable) to clinics, hospitals and treatment centers for appointments
- Lodging - This can include the patient and/or family during away from home treatments
- Meals - Away from home meals for the patient and/or family
- Extra Child Care Costs - Daycare, food, clothing, etc.
- Communication - Phone Calls, Faxes, Copies of Medical Records, etc. with physicians, friends and family
- Special Equipment or Clothing
- Special Nutritional Needs - This can include nutritional supplements and/or special foods
