Who benefits from this fundraiser?

Ribbons of Hope is a charitable organization comprised of volunteers in Carbon County who have been touched by someone diagnosed by cancer. The annual fun run is held to raise funds to benefit Carbon County residents who are battling cancer. The funds may be used by the patient for things such as travel expenses or other expenses related to their cancer treatments.   

History of Our Event

Ribbons of Hope has hosted a fun run as our major fundraiser annually for the last 9 years. The Color Run, Fiesta 5K, and Turkey Trot races have been successful events! Although the global pandemic kept us from hosting a major fundraiser in 2020 and 2021, in 2022 we organized the Turkey Trot - Thanksgiving Day 5K. It has been such a HUGE success with registrations for our in-person event and also the virtual race option to participate from anywhere. In 2024 we added our first off-site race. Our ambitious Saratoga crew of volunteers held a local race in conjunction with ours and it was so successful, we are already planning another one this Thanksgiving.

Thanks to the support from our generous sponsors and supporters, we continue to support those in Carbon County who are battling cancer.
